TEXTILE CARE
Our clothing and textiles arrive minimally treated, allowing them to soften naturally over time with wear and washing. We recommend washing your item before first use to help relax the fabric and improve its softness.
DYED FABRICS:
- Spot test your detergent
- Wash separately before wearing, as some dye may run.
BLACK DYE (NEW MOON):
- Wash separately on hot for the first wash to set the dye.
- Continue washing separately on cold for the next 2-3 washes.
- This specific colorway may require a few washes for the color to fully stabilize.
- Wash cold delicate
- Dry low or hang dry
- Do not dry clean
Absolutely! Dyeing is a fantastic way to give your garments new life. We especially love indigo dye, as it looks great on virtually any color base and can help cover stains on your favorite pieces.
Please Note:
- We do not offer over-dyeing services.
- However, dyeing at home is very doable using natural dye kits or RIT colors of your choice.
By dyeing your items yourself, you can customize the color to your preference and breathe fresh life into your beloved clothing.
Altering your clothing is a wonderful way to make each piece fit you perfectly. Here are some common adjustments:
- Modify necklines
- Shorten lengths
- Expand or take in the waist
For specific details and pricing, check with a local alteration shop. In our experience, these services are often affordable and provide excellent, tailored results.
Citrus Alert:
Citrus juicesβlike limeβand detergents with citrus-based cleaning agents can cause bleach-like stains on red, brown, and tan fabrics. To avoid this, take care when wearing these colors around citrus, and spot-test any citrus-based detergents before washing.
