When designing print patterns for PO-EM, hand-dyeing, block-printing, and color work together in a beautiful fusion. I love pushing the boundaries of these traditional processes and in my quest to create an all-over color print, I designed this horse pattern using nine blocks that come together seamlessly. My workshop gave the initial green light, but once we started working through the printing process, it quickly became a time-consuming challenge for the team. They gently suggested we shouldn't pursue this particular print and I agreed, thus it's been out of rotation the last few years.
